I am a story teller. A film & TV director who also loves to film events, particularly weddings. 

I have been taking photographs since I was a child, when I stole a few ill-judged images of a rhinoceros on my Dad’s Minolta. I think I rapidly became rather better at filming things from that moment onwards! Since then I have filmed and photographed a wild assortment of things and always sought to find the right technique to capture them.

But despite the vast array of things I have filmed and photographed in my career, people are my favourite subject. 

During my life I have directed and edited dozens of films and TV programmes. With my director hat on I am comfortable commanding a large crew on a set with time as our most precious commodity – calmly guiding the production through a tricky shoot. Equally I am at home as a lone self-shooter – being as discreet as possible, endeavouring to capture critical moments whilst being as unobtrusive as I can.

Having edited hundreds of films every imaginable genre, I still get a thrill from taking all that has been acquired on a shoot, and turning it into a unified whole – a film, a curated collection or a set of definitive articles.
